Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

GENERAL

What is EnterPay?
EnterPay is a crypto payment solution for businesses that allows merchants to accept payments in over 300 cryptocurrencies. All payments are automatically settled in EUR (or local fiat), with 0% transaction fees for the merchant.

How does EnterPay work?
Customers pay with crypto by scanning a QR code generated on your EnterPay POS terminal or mobile interface. EnterPay’s licensed partners process the transaction and automatically convert the crypto into fiat. The merchant receives the EUR payment in their bank account, just like with a traditional card payment.

What types of businesses can use EnterPay?
EnterPay is built for hospitality, retail, luxury, e-commerce, events, automotive, and more. If you receive in-person or online payments, you can use EnterPay.

What is included in the EnterPay hardware terminal?
Each terminal comes with:

  • Crypto POS device

  • Built-in SIM (mobile connection)

Do I need technical knowledge to use the terminal?
No, EnterPay terminals are plug-and-play. Simply connect to WiFi or mobile data, log in with your credentials, and start accepting payments.

Do I receive crypto or fiat?
You always receive fiat (e.g., EUR / USD / GBP) in your bank account. The crypto is converted by our licensed partners at the moment of transaction.

Is there any crypto price volatility risk for the merchant?
No. The crypto-to-fiat conversion happens in real-time at the market rate, so you are protected from volatility.

How long does a transaction take?
Most transactions are confirmed within seconds to a few minutes, depending on the blockchain used.

Is there a transaction fee?
EnterPay charges 0% transaction fees for merchants. The user (customer) may pay a small blockchain network fee.

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

Is EnterPay compliant with regulations?
Yes. All crypto processing, KYC/AML compliance, and fiat off-ramping are handled by licensed third-party partners. EnterPay itself acts as a non-custodial software layer.

Do I need to perform KYC/KYB?

All merchants are required to complete a Know Your Business (KYB) verification process during onboarding. For users, KYC is only required for high-risk or large transactions, based on regulatory thresholds.

Is my data safe?
